Losing Weight – Week Two
Drumroll please. . . .
This week’s weigh-in was 190.2!
Woo Hoo – So lost one more pound. I know I should be happy with this, but at this rate it will be November of 2010 before I am where I want to be, which seems a little unfair since it seems like I gained all the weight overnight (okay, so I gained it all overnight over the course of oh, about 15 years – but it feels like overnight!)
This week’s major challenge was of course Labor Day. I seem to do really well at work staying on my diet and exercise schedule, but as soon as I get home, it all goes out the window. So I had 3 days of not counting points, and not exercising. So I guess I should be very thankful for that one pound that decided to leave me.
I started thinking back to time when I was successful at losing weight, and what I did. Two of my favorite exercises are Tae Bo and Winsor Pilates. I love Winsor Pliates because you get lean without sweating too much, and I love the energy of Tae Bo.
So I hit the internet, all prepared to sign up for the Winsor Pilates DVD club only to find out that Winsor Pilates is no longer sold in the USA – what’s up with that? Very disappointing. However, I still have my old VHS tapes (had to hit the resale store for an old VHS player!) You can also buy Winsor Pilates used on Amazon and on E-Bay.
So, did you face any challenges this week?
